Northwest Whitfield came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Adairsville Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on September 9th.

Jenna Quinn paced Northwest Whitfield's offense, picking up six kills. Quinn got some help from Megan Torbett and her 13 assists. Layla Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Northwest Whitfield's victory bumped their record up to 25-13. As for Adairsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-27 record this season.

Northwest Whitfield will square off against Gilmer at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Adairsville, they will challenge North Murray at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
