Softball Recap: Piscataway Chiefs vs. East Brunswick Vo-Tech

Piscataway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against East Brunswick Vo-Tech, falling 11-5. That's two games in a row now that the Chiefs have lost by exactly six runs.

Samantha Venturi was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and nine unearned) runs off eight hits.
