Basketball Recap: St. John Paul II Panthers vs. Wakulla Christian School Saints
There's no place like home for St. John Paul II, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Wakulla Christian School Saints, posting a 38-6 victory.

St. John Paul II can attribute much of their success to Aliyah Medrano, who posted 12 points and five steals. Medrano is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Jacobs, who scored eight points and six rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Wakulla Christian School saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brooklyn Buckley had four points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Markham, who earned two points and nine rebounds.
The win got St. John Paul II back to even at 1-1. As for Wakulla Christian School, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
Looking ahead, St. John Paul II will venture away from home to take on Brookwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wakulla Christian School, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bozeman at 4:30 p.m. on December 1.
