 Russellville is 3-0 against Clinton since April of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Monday. The Russellville Cyclones will look to defend their home field  against the Clinton Yellowjackets at 4:30  p.m. Both teams come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Tuesday,  everything went Russellville's way against Siloam Springs as Russellville made off with  a  14-7 win.
  Alexis Bailey tossed a big game,   pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned  (and five unearned) runs off   three  hits.
 At the plate,  Kaiya White was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Aribella Garcia, who  went 3-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Meanwhile, Clinton came tearing into  Monday's  game with six straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Warriors by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  7-4.
 Russellville is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-14 record  this season. As for Clinton, their victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-6.
 Russellville was able to grind out a solid  win over Clinton when the teams last played  back in April of 2023, winning  7-2. Will Russellville repeat their success,  or does  Clinton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
