Soccer Recap: China Spring Gets the Win

China Spring gave up the first goal on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They won by a goal and slipped past the Robinson Rockets 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Skylar Hicks was the driving force of China Spring's attack as she scored both of China Spring's goals, bringing her season total up to two goals.

China Spring has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those five games. As for Robinson, they now have a losing record at 2-3-1.

China Spring will take on Connally at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Robinson, they will challenge Lorena at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Robinson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
