Volleyball Recap: Villanova Prep Wildcats vs. St. Bonaventure Seraphs        
        
		
             Villanova Prep came tearing into  Tuesday's  match with five straight wins  and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the St. Bonaventure Seraphs. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the   3-0 loss the Seraphs walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in August of 2023.
 The final score came out to 25-18, 26-24, 19-25,  25-20.
 Among those leading the charge was   Kirra Crane, who  had 13  digs and five  aces. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in the last four games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Villanova Prep  kept the net locked down and  finished the game with 11  blocks. That's the most  blocks they've managed all season.
 Villanova Prep has  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 12 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record  this season. As for St. Bonaventure,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-7.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Villanova Prep will take on Foothill Tech at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Foothill Tech is coming into the  game with three straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Villanova Prep will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  win. As for St. Bonaventure, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cate  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Cate will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something St. Bonaventure surely won't give up without a fight.
