Basketball Recap: California Now 14-1 over Last 15 Games

California extended their home winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Emeka Ifediora. The California Grizzlies took down the Granada Matadors 68-51 on Tuesday thanks in part to Ifediora, who posted 19 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

California has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season. As for Granada, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

When California and Granada next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. California will try to stop San Ramon Valley's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. California is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61 points per game this season. Similarly, Granada will challenge Dougherty Valley and their four-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
