Selma got themselves on the board against Golden West on Thursday, but Golden West never followed suit. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Trailblazers. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trailblazers, too.

Selma saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Calixtro, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

The win made it two in a row for Selma and bumps their season record up to 10-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Golden West, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-5.

Selma has already played their next contest, a 12-3 win against Shafter on the 27th. As for Golden West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-3 victory against Lemoore on the 30th.
