Cherokee extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Joscelyn Stamper. The Braves blew past the Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats 3-0 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Stamper, who had 15 kills, six digs, three aces, and two blocks. She has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 55 times she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cherokee was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-12, 25-7.

Cherokee's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kennedy Moore, who had nine assists and five aces. Those five aces gave Moore a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lilly Lossiah, who had 24 assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Cherokee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matchups.

Cherokee's win bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Blue Ridge Early College, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Cherokee has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Rosman on the 2nd. As for Blue Ridge Early College, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Hiwassee Dam on the 2nd.
