Volleyball Recap: Hinkley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hinkley lost against Denver South back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Thunder lost 3-0 to the Ravens.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-5, 25-16.

Yareni Colmenero paced Hinkley's offense, picking up two kills. Colmenero got some help from Gisele Chavez and her three assists. Chavez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Hinkley has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-5 record this season. As for Denver South, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hinkley will square off against rival Rangeview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Denver South is set to take on their familiar foe Vista PEAK Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
