Mishawaka Marian made up a huge gap compared to their last game against New Prairie, but still couldn't quite topple them. The Mishawaka Marian Knights were the clear victor by a 45-24 margin over the New Prairie Cougars on Thursday. That looming 45-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

New Prairie lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Addi Luther, who posted four points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Luther a new career-high in points.

Mishawaka Marian's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-12. As for New Prairie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.
