Luke Cuellar Has Career Rushing Day

Starting off the list is Thomas Jefferson's Luke Cuellar, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Thursday Cuellar rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 135 yards on only ten passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Thomas Jefferson moved to 3-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. They and Aurora Central are set to duel on Saturday.
