Basketball Recap: Culver Academies Eagles vs. Washington Township Senators
Culver Academies gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They blew past the Washington Township Senators, posting a 52-24 win. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 36-33 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Piper Brumm had an outrageously good game as she posted 15 points plus five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Herron, who went 6 for 14 en route to 13 points plus five rebounds and two steals.
Culver Academies will head out to square off against Wabash at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Washington Township, they will challenge Griffith at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
