            The Rio Vista Eagles are taking a road trip to  challenge the Bosqueville Bulldogs  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Rio Vista's defense has only allowed 12.4  points per game  this season, so Bosqueville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Rio Vista will bounce into Friday's   game after  beating Italy, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Eagles walked away with  a   21-10  win over the Gladiators  last Friday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rio Vista to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Brysen Yadon, who rushed for 16 yards and one  touchdown, and also caught one  TD. The Eagles also got a significant boost from  Tate Conley, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 136 yards.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Rio Vista was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 206  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
 Rio Vista didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Preston Biggs and  Ayden Jackson. Jackson got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
 Meanwhile, Bosqueville slipped by Valley Mills  28-27 on Friday.
 Rio Vista pushed their record up to 4-1 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 34.0 points over those games. As for Bosqueville, their record is now 6-1.
 Rio Vista took their  victory against Bosqueville  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024 by a conclusive  42-21 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
