 Big Foot is 1-7 against Evansville since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Big Foot Chiefs will look to defend their home field  against the Evansville Blue Devils at 5:00  p.m. Big Foot will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  match than the last.
 Big Foot only won by two when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-point they dealt Wisconsin Heights on Saturday. Everything went Big Foot's way against Wisconsin Heights as Big Foot made off with  a  16-7 win.
  Holly Kynell made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Kynell has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings every time she's  pitched this season. Kynell was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Kate Hummel was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and a  double.  Leah Paulsen was another key contributor,  going 3-for-5 with four  RBI and two  doubles.
 Meanwhile, the third road  matchup was the charm for Evansville, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with  a   4-1  victory over Fort Atkinson  on Friday. The  win was just what Evansville needed coming off of  a  13-0 loss in their prior  contest.
 Big Foot pushed their record up to 4-1 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.7 runs per game. As for Evansville, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
