Basketball Recap: Bradford Prep Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

Bradford Prep gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 65-41 margin over the Carolina International Comets. The score was close at halftime, but the Bears pulled away in the second half with 39 points.

Luke Hanson had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gaibryel Valcin, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards.

Carolina International's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Bradford Prep will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against North Stanly at 7:30 p.m. on December 3. As for Carolina International, they will challenge Cuthbertson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
