Basketball Recap: Bell Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

Bell had won two straight road games and Madi Capers did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Bell Blue Raiders came out on top against the Northwest Texans by a score of 55-46 thanks in part to Capers, who went 7 of 9 on her way to 16 points and eight rebounds. What's more, she also racked up two steals, the most she's had since back in November.

Another player making a difference was Jaida James, who posted 11 points and six rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Bell is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for Northwest, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-11.

Coincidentally, Bell and Northwest will both be playing Keller Central the next time they take the court. Northwest will head out to face Keller Central at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, while Bell will host them at 5:45 p.m. on December 17th.
