Softball Recap: Belgrade Starts Season with Win Against Columbia Falls

Belgrade had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Columbia Falls Wildcats 9-2 on Saturday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Rylee Feight was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Bailee White was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Belgrade has already played their next matchup, a 4-4 tie against Polson on the 22nd. As for Columbia Falls, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Glacier at 5:00 p.m. on April 7.
