Recap: Oak Hills Bulldogs vs. Beaumont Cougars
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Oak Hills Bulldogs walked away with it. They came out on top against Beaumont by a score of 26-13 on Friday. The win was nothing new for Oak Hills as they're now sitting on six straight.
When it comes to explaining why Beaumont lost, one person who can't be blamed is Christopher Cooper. Despite the final result, he threw for 124 yards and two touchdowns.
Oak Hills' victory was their seventh straight at home , which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.0 points per game. As for Beaumont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.
Oak Hills will head out on the road to face off against Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Warren has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 124 points over their last three contests. Beaumont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
