For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Monroe and Lincoln meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Trojans walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Railsplitters. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Monroe's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Lincoln, they moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Monroe will venture away from home to challenge Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln, they will square off against Clinton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
