Basketball Recap: Yorktown's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Port Aransas, Yorktown was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 41-31 victory over the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Yorktown's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Skidmore-Tynan, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yorktown has already played their next game (against Pettus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Skidmore-Tynan is taking a road trip to take on Port Aransas at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Port Aransas will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Skidmore-Tynan surely won't give up without a fight.
