Gary's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 55-46 win over the Alto Yellowjackets. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 1447th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gary has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Alto, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Looking ahead, Gary will head out on the road to challenge Central Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will be up against the Blue Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.47 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Alto will take on Woden in a holiday battle at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
