DME Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Mar Villena Dura, who had 12 assists and seven digs, and Julia Amaral Abbade, who had five digs and two aces. Amaral Abbade is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Isabella Taveras Seda had a dynamite game For Beachside., getting 12 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Taveras Seda has posted over her last 13 matchups.

DME Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Beachside, their victory bumped their record up to 22-2.
