Baseball Recap: Flintridge Prep Has No Trouble Against Providence

Flintridge Prep's game back in March was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Providence Pioneers. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Calvin Chen, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Nicholas Aparicio was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Flintridge Prep's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-11. As for Providence, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
