Basketball Recap: Levigh Cooper's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Glenwood over South Gallia

Glenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 63-45 bruising from the South Gallia Rebels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 53-43 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Levigh Cooper, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ian Spiess, who posted eight points along with 12 rebounds and three blocks.

Glenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for South Gallia, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7.

Glenwood has already played their next game (against East), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. South Gallia has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Oak Hill.
