Football Recap: East Henderson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

East Henderson had lost six straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-7 to make it seven. They were dealt a 54-0 loss at the hands of the North Henderson Knights. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 44-8 to the Knights when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dominic Smith threw for 107 yards on 12 of 23 attempts. Chase Cornwell was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards.

As for North Henderson, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-4. That 54 point margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Parker Willis was his usual excellent self, rushing for 138 yards and three scores on only 11 carries. Willis is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 138 every time he's taken the field this season.

East Henderson has already played their next matchup, a 46-7 defeat against Brevard on the 10th. As for North Henderson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-21 loss against Franklin on the 10th.
