Baseball Recap: Northville Takes a Loss

The Northville Falcons came up short against the Warrensburg Burgers on Saturday and fell 4-1.

Northville saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Dickinson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Northville's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Warrensburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Northville will square off against Mayfield at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Warrensburg, they will take on Lake Placid at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bombers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Burgers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
