Volleyball Recap: Catholic Central Comes Up Short

Catholic Central extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 13 on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-10. They lost 3-0 to the Triad Cardinals. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Among those leading the charge was Elley Dorn, who had ten digs and four aces. Those four aces gave her a new career-high. Riley Haser also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Coming up, Catholic Central will host Emmanuel Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Triad, they will head out on the road to take on West Liberty-Salem at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
