Soccer Recap: Southside Christian's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Southside Christian's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Greenville Christian Academy Knights by a score of 5-4. Southside Christian were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Greenville Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Southside Christian hit Greenville Christian Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Zach Doyle, Gabe Markley, Brady Nenni, and Nathanael Frey.

Having lost for the first time this season, Southside Christian fell to 2-1. As for Greenville Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Southside Christian will face off against Community Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenville Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 7-4 victory against Hilltop Christian on the 26th.
