Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Homewood-Flossmoor). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Crete-Monee Warriors 50-0. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Homewood-Flossmoor's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Crete-Monee, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Homewood-Flossmoor didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-14 defeat against Hinsdale South on the 6th. As for Crete-Monee, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bloom at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th.
