Soccer Game Preview: Kimball vs. Conrad

Kimball has won three straight games at home, while Conrad has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Kimball Knights will host the Conrad Chargers at 10:00 a.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Kimball's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Madison 6-0.

Kimball hit Madison with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lola Trevino (2), Destiny Rodriguez (2), Alissa Talamantes, and An Vu.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Conrad). Everything went their way against Carter on Saturday as Conrad made off with a 10-2 victory.

Kimball has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 42 goals over those seven games. As for Conrad, their win bumped their record up to 5-2-1.

Kimball took their victory against Conrad when the teams last played back in March of 2017 by a conclusive 4-0. Does Kimball have another victory up their sleeve, or will Conrad turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
