Basketball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union was the 40-31 winner over Sebastopol when they last played one another on January 9th, but their luck changed this time around. The Union Yellowjackets fell 58-49 to the Sebastopol Bobcats on Tuesday.

When it comes to explaining why Union lost, don't look at Rymia Craft. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten boards. Those 27 points gave Craft a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracyn Tillman, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.

Union's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Sebastopol, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-7.

Union will take on J.Z. George at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sebastopol, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eupora at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
