Basketball Recap: Copper Basin Cougars vs. Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles

The Copper Basin Cougars lost against the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Copper Basin took a 58-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. Copper Basin has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Copper Basin still got an impressive performance from Justus Hamby, who scored 20 points. Hamby is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Talon Smith, who scored 12 points.

Copper Basin's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Copper Basin will take on the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sentinels at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chattanooga Prep is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 59 points per game this season.
