Basketball Game Preview: Family Christian Warriors vs. Founders Classical Academy Voyagers

The Family Christian Warriors will take on the Founders Classical Academy Voyagers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Family Christian and six for Founders Classical Academy.

Family Christian is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Faith Christian on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Family Christian took a blow against Faith Christian, falling 52-25. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-10.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 41-11, which was the final score in Founders Classical Academy's tilt against Lake Houston HomeSchool back in December of 2024. The Voyagers were down 30-4 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the defeat, Founders Classical Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Londyn Jefferson posted six points.

Founders Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Family Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
