Football Game Preview: Rockhurst Hawklets vs. Chrisman Bears

The Rockhurst Hawklets will host the Chrisman Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chrisman took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Rockhurst, who comes in off a win.

Rockhurst is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Missouri's top teams: St. Louis University, who was ranked 19th at the time (Rockhurst was ranked eighth). The Hawklets blew past the Junior Bills 35-14 on Friday. The Hawklets have beaten the Junior Bills the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Junior Bills has come to flipping the script.

Cash Lewandowski produced another solid performance rushing for 75 yards and three scores, while also picking up 48 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 40 points the game before, Chrisman was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were outmatched by Fort Osage and fell 35-0. The shutout was out of character for the Bears seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Chrisman dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Rockhurst, their record is now 7-2.
