Basketball Recap: Cutter-Morning Star Find Success

Cutter-Morning Star's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Perryville Mustangs by a score of 72-62. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 55-43 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2021.

The victory got Cutter-Morning Star back to even at 8-8. As for Perryville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cutter-Morning Star will welcome Ozark Catholic Academy at 1:00 p.m. on January 4th. As for Perryville, they will face off against Glen Rose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
