Volleyball Game Preview: West Hancock Eagles vs. Eagle Grove Eagles

West Hancock are taking a road trip to challenge Eagle Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between West Hancock and Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, and Garner-Hayfield/Ventura kept the tradition alive. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Eagle Grove came up short against Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Eagle Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

West Hancock couldn't quite get it done against Eagle Grove when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can West Hancock avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
