Volleyball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central and West Shamokin squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Central had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Wolves. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Bryson Brooks paced Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Brooks got some help from Logan Hummel and his 19 assists. Finally, Hayden Smith kept Central's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for West Shamokin, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

As of now, neither Central nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
