Basketball Recap: Red Cloud Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Red Cloud had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They strolled past the Blue Hill Bobcats with points to spare, taking the game 49-33. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 56-34 win two weeks ago.

Red Cloud got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiva Rust out in front who posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Rust, who earned 17 points.

Avaley Toepfer and Reece Mlady certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Toepfer dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds, while Mlady had five points in addition to nine boards and three steals. Mlady has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 20 times she's played.

Red Cloud's record is now 14-8. As for Blue Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.

As of now, neither Red Cloud nor Blue Hill have any future games scheduled.
