Pinkston is 9-0-1 against Roosevelt since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Pinkston Vikings will host the Roosevelt Mustangs at 8:00 p.m. Pinkston is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

Pinkston took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They beat A Plus Academy by a goal, winning 2-1. The win was all the more spectacular given the Vikings' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 516th, while the Knights are ranked 222nd).

Daniel Romero and Jose Joel Rangel scored both of Pinkston's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt fell victim to Lincoln and their airtight defense on Saturday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. The Mustangs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Pinkston, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Pinkston took their win against Roosevelt in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0. Does Pinkston have another victory up their sleeve, or will Roosevelt turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
