With a playoff win on the line, Grant Union rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the Weston-McEwen/Griswold Tiger Scots as they made off with a 10-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Prospectors, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Grant Union is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Weston-McEwen/Griswold, they moved to 17-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Grant Union nor the Tiger Scots have any future games scheduled.
