Softball Recap: Wissahickon Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Wissahickon's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Upper Dublin Cardinals on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost six in a row.

Wissahickon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gianna Trerotola, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Wissahickon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Upper Dublin, they moved to 9-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Wissahickon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 14-0 loss against Plymouth Whitemarsh on the 1st. As for Upper Dublin, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Abington on the 1st.
