Volleyball Recap: Denmark Comes Up Short

If Denmark was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lambert on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Denmark fell 3-1 to the North Atlanta Warriors on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North Atlanta this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 16-25, 25-16.

North Atlanta can attribute much of their success to Eleni Karagiannis, who had nine digs and three assists.

Denmark has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-17 record this season. As for North Atlanta, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-9.

Denmark does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Atlanta, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against North Forsyth on the 8th.
