Soccer Game Preview: KIPP San Jose Collegiate vs. Latino College Preparatory Academy

The KIPP San Jose Collegiate Wolfpack will take on the Latino College Preparatory Academy Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They came out on top against KIPP Navigate College Prep by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolfpack.

Nathan Ybanes and Juan Vazquez scored both of KIPP San Jose Collegiate's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Latino College Preparatory Academy put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their undefeated season alive. Everything went their way against ACE Charter as Latino College Preparatory Academy made off with a 7-1 win. The Golden Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by three goals or more this season.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four games. As for Latino College Preparatory Academy, they pushed their record up to 10-0-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate came up short against Latino College Preparatory Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 2-0. Can KIPP San Jose Collegiate avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
