Football Recap: Ogden Comes Up Short

Ogden lost against West Marshall back in September of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs took a blow against the Trojans, falling 49-6. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 213th, while the Trojans are ranked 88th).

This is the second loss in a row for Ogden and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for West Marshall, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ogden will challenge rival West Central Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Marshall is set to square off against their familiar foe Pleasantville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
