Champlin Park is 9-1 against Anoka since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Champlin Park Rebels will host the Anoka Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m.

Champlin Park is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Minnesota's top teams: St. Michael-Albertville, who was ranked tenth at the time (Champlin Park was ranked ninth). Champlin Park took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Michael-Albertville on Saturday. The matchup marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Anoka came tearing into Saturday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 63-53. While the Tornadoes didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Anoka's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.0 points per game. As for Champlin Park, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.

Champlin Park came out on top in a nail-biter against Anoka in their previous meeting back in February, sneaking past 76-74. Does Champlin Park have another victory up their sleeve, or will Anoka turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
