Baseball Recap: Eureka Gets the Win

Eureka proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Rancho Cotate Cougars 2-1.

Eureka saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Crawford, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Eureka's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Rancho Cotate, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Eureka beat the Cougars by a score of 8-4 later that day.
