Rockport-Fulton came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Jones Trojans as they made off with a 12-2 win. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by six runs or more this season.

Rockport-Fulton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Jones, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

Coincidentally, Rockport-Fulton and Jones will both be playing Sinton the next time they take the field. The Trojans will host the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Pirates will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
