Middle Township had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They strolled past the Our Lady of Mercy Academy Villagers with points to spare, taking the game 53-36. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Villagers are ranked 67th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Reagen Powell was her usual excellent self, going 9-for-20 to rack up 25 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mckenzie Palek, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.

Middle Township smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Middle Township's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Our Lady of Mercy Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.
