Baseball Recap: Ogden Falls Short of Canyon View in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ogden can now relate to. They lost 19-9 to the Canyon View Falcons on Thursday. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Lucas Bushell was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run was his first of the season. Rodrigo Torres was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Ogden's loss dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Canyon View, their record is now 21-5.

While Ogden had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
